🐢 Turtle Voyage — Terms of Service & Disclaimer

Last updated: October 24, 2026  |  Effective date: October 24, 2026

The short version

The full Terms below are what count. This box just helps you read them.

  • Turtle Voyage is free. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.
  • Your progress is saved only on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes it, and we cannot bring it back.
  • Take breaks, and play somewhere safe.
  • We work hard to make the game good. If something is wrong with it, you keep every right the law gives you.
  • If you are a child, ask a grown-up to read this with you.

1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

Turtle Voyage ("the Game") is made by PixelForgeApps (legal name: Adrian Burcin), an individual developer based in Romania, European Union ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@adrianburcin.com.

These Terms explain how the Game works, what you may do with it, and what we promise. They apply to the Game on every store it is offered on.

2. Your Licence to Play

When you download the Game, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install it on devices you own or control and to play it for your own, non-commercial fun, as the store you got it from allows.

You may not:

Nothing here stops you doing anything the law always allows. You are welcome to share screenshots, videos and your love for the Game. If you find a bug, please tell us so we can fix it.

If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may end your licence. We will never take away rights the law gives you.

3. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its graphics, artwork, animations, sound effects, music, text, game mechanics, code and overall design, belongs to Adrian Burcin, or to the people who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws in Romania and internationally.

The name "Turtle Voyage", the Shelly character and the Game's artwork and logos belong to Adrian Burcin. All rights not expressly given to you in these Terms are kept by us.

4. Price, Purchases and Refunds

Free to play: the Game is free to download and play. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.

If we ever add something to buy, it will be clearly marked in the Game, the price will be shown by the store in your currency, and payment will go through the store you got the Game from (Google Play billing, or Apple's App Store). We never see your payment details. Before any such purchase goes live, we will update these Terms.

5. Your Progress

Your progress (high score, coins collected, Shelly's level) and your sound setting are saved only on your device. We do not run a server, and there is no account or cloud save, so we cannot see, recover or move anyone's progress.

Uninstalling the Game, clearing its data, or changing or resetting your device deletes your progress for good.

If you lose progress because of a fault in the Game, please tell us. Your legal rights in section 7 apply. We are not responsible for progress deleted on purpose, or lost because the Game was uninstalled or the device was reset, lost or damaged.

6. Health and Safety

This section is advice to keep you safe. It does not reduce our responsibility under section 7.

7. What We Are and Are Not Responsible For

If you live in the European Union (or in any other country whose laws give you similar protections), the rules in 7.1 come first, and nothing in these Terms takes them away.

7.1 (a) The legal guarantee. Where the law gives you a legal guarantee for the Game (for example, for anything you pay for), the Game must be as described and work as a game of its kind should, and we will provide the updates needed to keep it working and secure for as long as you can reasonably expect. If it is not right, you are entitled to have it fixed, a price reduction, or your money back, as the law provides.

7.1 (b) What we are always responsible for. We remain fully responsible for: death, personal injury or harm to health caused by us; harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence; fraud; claims under product liability laws; and anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

7.1 (c) What we are not responsible for. Apart from the above, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss not caused by us, or for losses of business, income or profit (the Game is for private play). We are not responsible for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages of the app stores, or a device that is damaged, modified, or not supported by the Game as described on its store page.

7.2 If you live outside the European Union, then to the fullest extent your local law allows:

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available".

We cannot promise the Game will be free of bugs or interruptions, or that it will work on every device, and we give no warranty beyond those required by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of data or progress. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

7.3 For everyone: nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer.

8. Fair Play

Please do not use the Game in a way that:

9. Updates and the Game's Future

We may update the Game to fix problems, improve it, keep it working on new versions of Android and iOS, or add new things. Some updates may change how parts of the Game look or play. We will not make changes that take away the main content of anything you paid for. If we ever have to make a change that makes the Game noticeably worse for people who paid for something in it, we will tell you first, and your legal rights apply.

The Game runs on your device and does not need our servers. If one day we stop making updates, or the Game leaves a store, the copy on your device keeps working for as long as your device and its operating system support it. You may not be able to download it again, so keep it installed. We will try to announce such a change in advance.

10. App Stores and Other Websites

The Game is distributed through Google Play and Apple's App Store. Those stores are run by Google and Apple under their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control, including their rules on downloads, refunds and accounts.

If the Game or this website links to another website or service, that link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for that website's content or practices.

11. Parents and Children

Turtle Voyage is made for everyone, including children. It has no ads, no chat, no accounts and does not collect personal information (see our Privacy Policy). If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian needs to read and agree to these Terms for you. Parents and guardians can manage play time and downloads with their device's family tools (such as Google Family Link or Apple's Screen Time).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Game changes or the law changes. The new version will be shown on this page, with a new date at the top. If a change is important, we will point it out (for example, in the store's update notes or in the Game) before it applies. A change will never take away something you have already paid for or reduce your legal rights. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop playing and uninstall the Game at any time.

13. If Something Goes Wrong: Law and Disputes

Talk to us first. Write to support@adrianburcin.com. We read every message and aim to reply within 14 days.

Law. These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and nothing here takes that away.

Courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you can bring a claim in the courts of Romania or of the country where you live.

Help outside court. If we cannot sort out a complaint together, consumers can contact Romania's consumer authority, ANPC, and its Alternative Dispute Resolution service (SAL), at anpc.ro. Consumers in other EU countries can also get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country.

14. Other Bits

If a court decides part of these Terms is not valid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These Terms, our Privacy Policy and the terms of the store you got the Game from are the whole agreement between you and us about the Game; none of them takes away your rights as a consumer.
